Dear GCSP Patients,
The health and wellbeing of our patients, staff, and community is our top priority. The following is a summary of what we are currently doing given the current concern surrounding the Covid-19 virus.
GCSP will be contacting all patients prior to their scheduled office visit to assess if anyone has recently had a respiratory infection within the last 14 days, traveled on an airplane within the last 14 days, or been exposed to anyone with a recent respiratory infection. We will ask that these patients be rescheduled and ask you to also inform us if you meet any of these criteria to also be rescheduled.
Patients with symptoms of Covid-19 such as a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath should contact their primary care physician’s office or local hospital.
Due to the current situation, our practice’s hours of operations will be reduced which may change at any given time. This will result in reduced staff and Provider availability as well to address any non-urgent issues. Some of our services will be reduced or rescheduled as well. This will not affect our patients who require infusion therapy. We ask that everyone be patient during this time.
For those patients who are active on our patient portal, we have the ability to set up a virtual visit and any non-urgent appointments and questions requiring more than a brief response will be transitioned to this. Please contact the office for additional details. For those who have scheduled a telehealth visit, please see the attachment below on how to prepare for the visit.
For additional information on how to protect yourself and if you think you are sick, please visit this CDC resource.
