"In practice I believe that taking my time with each patient, listening to their concerns, and addressing the root cause of the problem is vital to achieve optimal health. Long term relief or prevention of disease is possible by treating the entire body, not just the individual symptoms. I believe that the body has wonderful abilities to heal itself when fed with proper nutrition, exercise and chiropractic adjustments. I would like to provide therapy to my patients while also educating them on the ways they can take their health into their own hands."

Dr. Brod discovered her passion for the intricacies of the human body at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, where she received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2009. Four years later, she graduated from National University of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Chiropractic and is currently a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society.

While at National, she collaborated on several published research studies and is now a teacher for the massage program at the University. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the College of Dupage, teaching anatomy and physiology to students pursuing medical careers.

Dr. Brod has been a licensed massage therapist since March 2011. Soft tissue techniques are a vital adjunct to her adjusting style. She uses a combination of soft tissue massage, spinal manipulation, and rehabilitative exercises to return patients to optimal health and well-being. She also has a passion for diet and nutrition and incorporating these into the treatment plan.

Recently I experienced some lower back pain. For 4 days the pain was getting worse until I could not stand. I used crutches to move. I contacted Dr. Brod and she was able to get me in. During my visit with Dr. Brod she assured me that she could help and gave me treatment and things I could do at home. I was afraid I needed surgery since I had such intense pain. After 3 days I could stand and I know without Dr. Brod I would not be walking. I would not want anyone to experience the pain I felt but I would highly recommend Dr. Brod since she is very very good. I have seen many other doctors in the past and Dr. Brod is the best.
What I like about Dr. Brod is when you make an appointment you actually get in at the time, no waiting when you get there.
Experience with the general office staff is that they are always very friendly.

I came in with severe low back pain due to a herniated disc. It was hard to do my daily activities and after therapy I have gotten better. I now can do my normal daily activities without problems thanks to Dr. Nicole Brod. My experience with Dr. Brod and GCSP was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it. Dr. Brod has provided the best therapy, as she was very patient and heard my problems related to my low back pain. She found the best solution so that I could feel better quickly. Thanks to that I am doing much better now. Thank you, Dr. Brod.
In general, the overall treatment was great from the receptionist to the Dr it was excellent. Thank you again!

My experience with GCSP has always been a positive one. The office is new and very nice and the office staff is always helpful and pleasant to work with. I was referred to Dr. Brod by my Rheumatologist Dr. Conniff, and together we have taken a holistic approach to my treatment plan and more importantly how food affects my symptoms and overall wellbeing. Over the years I have struggled with Hoshimotos, Lupus and Psoriatic Arthritis and found that food has played an integral part in how symptoms flare or how I feel. Dr. Brod provided me with effective guidance to restructure my food list and offered workable suggestions to managing what I can eat and when. I have even dropped several pounds so far. Thank you, Dr. Brod, for being a delightful person, and for being willing to go the extra mile to research and provide back effective suggestions and care. I will refer others I know that are struggling with this too.
